Modern Day Food is Poison!

If you think you can just shop at the grocery store and buy whatever you want and live a healthy live still, you are sadly mistaken.

There is a clear agenda to try and poison America and the world.

Keep reading to find out how to to bring your health back in your own hands.

Exercise!

“When the weather will permit, all who can possibly do so ought to walk in the open air every day, summer and winter. But the clothing should be suitable for the exercise, and the feet should be well protected. A walk, even in winter, would be more beneficial to the health than all the medicine the doctors may prescribe. For those who can walk, walking is preferable to riding. The muscles and veins are enabled better to perform their work. There will be increased vitality, which is so necessary to health. The lungs will have needful action; for it is impossible to go out in the bracing air of a winter’s morning without inflating the lungs.” Counsels on Health, pg. 552.

Water!

“Pure water to drink and fresh air to breathe invigorate the vital organs, purifies the blood, and helps nature in her task of overcoming the bad conditions of the system.” (Ellen White). If we drank at least 8 glasses of water a day, many of our health problems would be eliminated. Such as bowel and bladder problems, anxiety attacks, and food tolerance reactions, burning in the stomach, headaches, colitis pain, hot flashes and many other problems. Water flushes out the toxins that cause many health problems. “If those who are afflicted would assist nature in her effort by the use of pure, soft water , much suffering would be prevented.” (Ellen White).

Rest!

With business activities running 24/7 it is so easy to get caught up in a cycle of depletion.

You don’t need fancy equipment and sleeping machines just to get good rest at night.
This ceaseless business world ensnares us in depletion. Yet the Bible provides renewal. Sabbath rest recharges the soul. Turning off devices, pondering scripture, praying, enjoying nature, worshiping with fellow believers - these activities refresh us. By prioritizing spiritual connection, we break exhaustion's grip. Simplicity and reflection are key. Small steps of faith lead to great changes. God's word guides us to wholeness.

Sunshine!

"If all would appreciate the sunshine, and expose every article of clothing to its drying, purifying rays, mildew and mold would be prevented….This is the only way rooms can be kept from impurities….Every room in our dwellings should be daily thrown open to the healthful rays of the sun and the purifying air should be invited in. This will be a preventive of disease.” (Ellen White)

Many people are afraid of the sun, because they think it will cause skin cancer. We believe that the sun is a purifier…..it brings to the surface (which is your skin) the toxins and germs that are already in your system – trying to flush them out of your body.

Trust In God!

“Gratitude, rejoicing, benevolence, trust in God ‘s love and care — these are health’s greatest safeguards.” My Life Today, pg. 151. (Ellen White).

Having security is something that we as humans seek to exist from the moment we are born until we die.

We want to be secured that we have not made a decision that could cost us an eternity!

Trusting whole heartedly in God to save you is the only way to have that security.

Temperance / Self Control

“In order to preserve health, temperance in all things is necessary – temperance in labor, temperance in eating and drinking.” How to Live, pg. 57.

“True temperance teaches us to dispense entirely with everything hurtful, and to use judiciously that which is healthful.” The Faith I Live By, pg. 231.

If you can master this, then you can master anything!

This is the epitome of human existence. Jesus demonstrated this clearly.

Fresh Air!

When was the last time you stepped outside and took a deep, refreshing breath of fresh air? Our busy modern lives keep us cooped up indoors, breathing stale recycled oxygen. But our bodies and minds need the revitalizing power of clean, crisp outdoor air. Just a few minutes outdoors can boost energy, improve mood, and relieve stress. Make it a daily habit to get some fresh air - go for a brief walk, eat lunch in the park, or simply stand outside and breathe deeply. Let the cool breeze and sweet scents of nature reinvigorate you. Don't underestimate the simple pleasure of life-giving fresh air.
